This page explains what happens to your data when you visit aleladestudio.com. The short version: there are no accounts or forms here, nothing is sold, and analytics only run if you say yes.

Who we are

Alelade Studio is an independent game studio based in Istanbul, Türkiye. For any privacy question or request, email info@aleladestudio.com.

What we collect

Server logs

Like every website, our hosting server records basic technical information for each request: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used only to keep the site running and secure, and are kept for a limited time by our hosting provider.

Analytics (only with your consent)

If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site. It records things like the pages you view, your approximate location (country and city), your device and browser, how you arrived (for example from a search engine or social media) and actions such as playing a trailer or clicking a store button.

• Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
• It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_*, which expire after up to 2 years.
• We keep analytics data for 14 months, then it is deleted automatically.
• We only see aggregated reports; we cannot identify you personally.

If you click Reject, Google Analytics is never loaded and nothing is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings (also at the bottom of every page). Withdrawing consent removes the analytics cookies from your browser.

Your cookie choice

We remember your Accept/Reject choice in your browser's local storage (alelade_consent) so we don't ask again on every page. This is necessary for the banner to work and contains no personal data.

Third-party content

YouTube trailers

Game trailers are hosted on YouTube. A trailer is only loaded when you press its play button; until then, no connection to YouTube is made. Once you press play, the video is served from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and Google's privacy policy applies.

App stores

Buttons such as "Get it on Google Play" take you to the store, where the store's own privacy policy applies. Our Google Play links include a tag showing that you came from our website, so we can see how many players this site brings to our games. We only see totals, not who you are.

Fonts and images

All fonts and images are served from our own server. We do not use third-party font services.

Your rights

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask what data relates to you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Email us at info@aleladestudio.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
